About the Company
Highland Custom Homes, LLC designs and builds one-of-a-kind homes, remodels existing spaces and develops small subdivisions. Owned and operated by Frank Ball since 1994, Highland Custom Homes delivers personalized attention and a direct, hands-on management approach that results in attractive, functional homes ideally suited to the needs and lifestyles of each individual client.
The company’s early years were marked with several land development projects, from a unique, conservation-style subdivision near the shores of Lake Michigan to clusterings of ranch homes in the Mequon area. Highland Custom Homes’ portfolio expanded as satisfied clients continued to refer business. With an eye trained for beautiful home sites and a mind for financial efficiency, Frank establishes genuine, trusting relationships with his clients, acting as their advocate on the construction site and trusted advisor throughout the project.
The Design Process
At the outset of any project, Frank spends time getting to know his client; your wants, your needs, and your lifestyle. He’ll help you select a parcel of land or work with one you’ve already selected, discussing how to best utilize the land upon which your new home will be built. You’ll understand his ideas and building philosophies by the conclusion of this initial conversation and appreciate the type of service and relationship you can expect to experience moving forward.
During the design phase, Frank is actively involved with the client and homedesigner to ensure that the home reflects your lifestyle and budget. With every decision you make, Frank will offer sensible, honest guidance founded on his expert knowledge of the industry so that you can make the best-informed decisions about your home.
Home Construction and Beyond
Once construction begins, Frank oversees all subcontractors to keep the project on schedule and on budget. You’ll often find him at the construction site, making sure things are done right and lending a hand whenever necessary. Frank will continue to be your trusted advisor and advocate, there to answer all your questions and carry your vision for a home through to completion.
Even after moving into your new space, Highland Custom Homes continues to be a resource for any questions or issues that may arise. The builder-client relationship developed over the course of your project will prevail far beyond the move-in date. Many clients return to Highland Custom Homes years later with ideas for remodels, additions, or new construction.
About Frank Ball
